Gold and Silver medals for CS Universitatea Arad athletes
3/1/2023They partook in the National University Athletics Championship (24-26 February) hosted by "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau, and won first and second place in the 1500m and 800m events.
Who are the champions?
Florea Maria Claudia, a first-year MA student (AVU`s Sports and Motor Performance Studies), won 2 gold medals in the 1500m and 800m events.
Vidrea Răzvan Gabriel, a third-year AVU undergraduate student (Physical Education and Sports), won silver medals in the 1500m and 800m events.
Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad ranked 5th out of the 18 participating universities.
