Ramona Lile „The Bicentennial concert, an exceptional cultural event”

A nigh full of excitement at the Cultural Palace with a substantial historical and patriotic weight behind it: the bicentennial concert organized by AVU`s “Ilarion V. Felea“ Faculty of Orthodox Theology with support from the Ministry of Education

The concert took place in the presence of His Eminence PhD. Timotei Seviciu, Archbishop of Arad, AVU`s management, officials, theology professors and of a numerous public; a large display of choral groups entertained the audience, amongst which: „Voci de primăvară” - „Sabin Drăgoi” Arts College Arad – conductor: prof. Corina Teuca; Arad Orthodox seminary Choir– male, female and mixt – conductors: prof. Ștefan-Adrian Bugyi and prof. Marius Lăscoiu-Martin; „Sf. Maxim Mărturisitorul” Mixed Choir - „Ilarion V. Felea” Faculty of Orthodox Theology– conductor: theology and conservatory student Bogdan Mureșan; „Armonia” Choir -Arad`s Historical Cathedral– conductor: prof. Ovidiu Boar and „Atanasie Lipovan” male choir - „Ilarion V. Felea” Faculty of Orthodox Theology Arad – conductor: lect. Phd, priest Tiberiu Ardelean.

„An exceptional cultural event offered by the 5 local choirs that offered an emotionally and patriotically charged repertoire, It was a special event that afforded us the chance of honoring those who raised the prestige level of local academic theology; in sign of appreciation they were awarded bicentennial diplomas and medals” declared Ramona Lile, AVU Rector.
