Ramona Lile: "Employment opportunities for Exact Sciences students"

A significant local employer, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Arad, and many potential employees, students from the Faculty of Exact Sciences, met face to face to discuss and analyse employment opportunities in the banking system for mathematics and computer science graduates.

Present at the event, Adela Costea, head of the bank`s risk management department, encouraged local students to start a career in the banking sector, which has a definite need for specialists in exact sciences.

In turn, AVU professors and the institution`s management emphasized how important these meetings are for the professional careers of young graduates.

"We organize these meetings to give our students the chance to find a job quicker or to participate in company level internships. The academic environment must facilitate this dialogue with economic entities, providing students with the opportunity to integrate into the labour market while still in school. We are thankful to those partners who prove, each time, that they support our university, that they want to get involved and include AVU graduates in their teams," declared AVU Rector Ramona Lile.
