Teodor Cilan: “The OSEEC Conference Brought Important Economic Experts to Arad”

The second edition of OSEEC, a conference dedicated to economic specialists, has begun, organized by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad with support from the Arad County Cultural Center. The official opening took place on Friday, October 11, at the new faculty building.

Participants included prominent figures such as Valentin Ionescu, General Director of the Institute of Financial Studies (ISF); Marian Siminică, Executive Director; Adrian Micu, Research Director at ISF; Ștefan Musgociu, Business Development and Public Affairs Specialist at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB); Laurențiu Riviș, Director at Lion Capital and ASF expert; Paul Dumitru; Roxana Băluță, specialist with the National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Societies of Romania; Andrada Verdes, Country Plant Manager at Leoni; and Bogdan Andrica, Director of Transilvania Bank Arad. The plenary and sectional sessions attracted a large audience of students, doctoral candidates, faculty, and economic experts, contributing to the event's success.

“OSEEC is one of the most important conferences of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, bringing together key institutions and partners from the economic world. The speakers introduced current issues in financial investment, insurance, banking, and business to the academic environment, fostering a constructive dialogue among participants and offering students the opportunity to stay connected to the real pulse of economic issues,” stated UAV Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Teodor Florin Cilan.
