1st Place and 2 Honorable Mentions for UAV in Iași

Three students from the Music Program (First Year) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of UAV participated in the 3rd Edition of the National Student Entrepreneurship and Artistic Management Contest, S-M-ART, organized by the National University of Arts "George Enescu" in Iași, and won 1st Place and 2 Honorable Mentions.

The team was coordinated by Prof. Dr. Habil. Veronica Laura Demenescu and consisted of: Cristina Mihaela Savu, who won 1st place in the "Business Plans" category, and students Daiana Matirel and Florina Lupulescu, who received honorable mentions in the "Project Management" category.

The S-M-ART Contest, 3rd Edition, and the conference "How to Navigate the World of Music" took place on May 24-25, under the coordination of Univ. Lector Dr. Florin Gheorghe Luchian, as part of the FDI project "Today's Students, Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs."

In the national stage of the competition, 27 projects were registered in the following categories: career management, project management, sponsorship and fundraising files, and business plans.

Students from the "Gheorghe Dima" National Music Academy of Cluj-Napoca, "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, National University of Music Bucharest, University of Oradea, Târgu-Mureș University of Arts, "Valahia" University of Târgoviște, "Transilvania" University of Brașov, and the "George Enescu" National University of Arts in Iași participated in the competition.

The jury of the competition was made up of university professors specialized in Cultural Management: Prof. Dr. Habil. Veronica Laura Demenescu - "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habil. Oana Balan-Budoiu - "Gheorghe Dima" National Music Academy, Cluj-Napoca, Dr. Monica Isăcescu-Lup - National University of Music Bucharest, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ariadna Zenaida Mircescu - University of Oradea, Univ. Lector Dr. Ioana Baalbaki - Târgu-Mureș University of Arts, Univ. Lector Dr. Felix Constantin Goldbach - "Valahia" University of Târgoviște, Dr. Ec. Emilia Giol - "Transilvania" University of Brașov, and Univ. Lector Dr. Florin Gheorghe Luchian - "George Enescu" National University of Arts, Iași.

The awards granted included: the Grand Prize, 3 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes, and 11 Honorable Mentions.
