Awards for AVU students at the 2nd edition of the National Student Music Management and Entrepreneurship S-M-Art Competition

Students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, under the guidance of Prof. Univ. Dr. Habil. Veronica Laura DEMENESCU, participated and won important prizes during the 2nd edition of the National S-M-Art Student Competition, - a project supported by CNFIS through FDI DIMA-HUB 2023 F0009 -, within the 15th edition of the Art and Education Conference hosted by the Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy in Cluj Napoca.

AVU students won a 1st place, a 3rd place, a special prize, and an honourable mention.

Who are the winners?

Radu DEMENESCU (2nd year Music) - 1st Prize in the Business Plans section

Sonia POTRA (3rd year Music) - 3rd Prize in the Sponsorship and Fundraising section

The team comprising of Cristina Maria MIHU (3rd year Music) and Marius BÂRZAN (2nd year Music) - Honourable Mention in the Sponsorship and Fundraising section.

Bianca Ștefania JULCUȚ (1st year Music Interpretation - Singing) - FSUS-UAV Special Prize.

The competition gathered 42 contestants from across 9 universities which host music study programmes: Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy in Cluj Napoca, National University of Music in Bucharest, George Enescu National University of Arts in Iasi, University of Arts in Târgu Mureș, University of Oradea, Transilvania University of Brașov, Valahia University of Târgoviște, Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and West University of Timișoara; the available competition sections were: Career Management, Project Management, Sponsorship and Fundraising and Business Plans.

Ioana Baalbaki - University of Arts Târgu-Mureș; Lecturer PhD. Ariadna Zenaida Mircescu - Faculty of Arts (Dep. Of Music) University of Oradea; Lecturer PhD. Florin Gheorghe Luchian - "George Enescu" National University of Arts in Iasi; Lecturer PhD. Felix Constantin Goldbach - Valahia University Târgoviște; Dr. Ec. Emilia Giol - Faculty of Music - "Transilvania" University of Brașov.

1 Grand Prize, 2 1st Prizes, 3 2nd Prizes, 6 3rd Prizes, 17 Honorable Mentions, and 1 Special Prize were awarded in total.
