AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile and Vice-Rector Teodor Cilan have been awarded the honorary citizenship of Şiria

Alongside them, two other members of Aurel Vlaicu University `s academic community have also been granted honorary citizenships: His Holiness Emilian Crișanul and Professor PhD. Moț Ghiocel; they received the title on the occasion of the sixteenth edition of the Days of Şiria.

"I am overwhelmed by this honor. I promise to always stand by you, citizens and local authorities alike, and to assist you in all projects undertaken for the promotion and development of the commune. I am honored to have alongside me, Vice-Rector Teodor Cilan, His Holiness Emilian Crișanul, and Professor Dr. Moț Ghiocel who have also become honorary citizens of Şiria, all members of AVU`s community. We assure you that you can always count on our as well as the university`s support and assistance in your efforts for the well-being of the community," stated Rector Ramona Lile.
