Tex-Renew - a project by AVU students

An Institutional Development Fund (FDI) project won by Aurel Vlaicu University`s Student Entrepreneurial Society (SAS), was hosted by the Faculty of Engineering.

The first workshop, titled "Business Ideas, Exchanges of Best Practices, Business Opportunities, Connections with the Economic and Business Environment," featured five invited speakers, all AVU graduates, who shared their success stories. They engaged in conversations with students from the university’s various faculties and shared their entrepreneurial experiences.

Those who shared their professional journeys were: Camelia Ursu, SC Anto Confecții SRL, with 26 years of experience in the textile industry and 10 years as an entrepreneur; Răzvan Ionele, with 26 years of experience in the textile industry, 20 years in consultancy, 18 years at Gherzi, a global textile engineering consultancy firm, and 10 years in digitization and IoT; Adrian Clepcea, with 21 years of experience at Sysrom, Rosko Textil, JRL Edition, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Key Safety System, and Softvision; Radu Covaci, with 23 years of professional experience in the textile industry and 16 years of entrepreneurship at Rad Print SRL; Silviu Flaviu Mocanu, FM-TEX Tecnica SRL, with 28 years in the textile field, specializing in the sale of textile machinery for major industry manufacturers.
