AVU, online at The European Researchers` Night

The European Researchers` Night will take place online, tomorrow, the 27th of November at 17.00
hours. 100% online, those passionate about science can take part in activities hosted by the
organizers and can interact with those who have created projects, directly on the event`s Facebook
page. The team from Arad, coordinated, as always, by “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad has
prepared activities organized by the Institute for Research, Development and Innovation in
Technical and Natural Sciences and Center for Research in Physical Education activities (both of
these from AVU), the “Aurel Ardelean” Institute for Life Sciences (UVVG, Arad), the DELTA
FORCE (RO 119) robotics team (Liceului Național de Informatică Arad) as well as by CSM Arad
which will present an air riffle simulator for improving shooting skills.

Novel experiences, educational trends and information about scientific innovations in various areas
can be accessed directly on project`s Facebook page.

“We are glad to be local coordinators for this significant international project. It is a tribute paid to
science, to the mind, an event which has brought together young, and not so young, sciences
enthusiasts each year. Although this year the event will take place exclusively online, I am sure it
will register a large audience” added AVU`s Rector, Prof. PhD. Ramona Lile.

This year, the event has been joined by researchers form 15 Romanian cities that will celebrate
science together. “I would like to thank our collaborators from Arad, those that have been with us
each and every year and have succeeded in winning over the public with their contributions. I do
hope we`ll register a significant impact this year again” commented AVU`s representative for the
