Organizational Learning and Sustainable Competitive Advantages (SCA): The Nigerian Experience
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to test for core competencies of organizations in achieving sustainable competitive advantage within the service organizations in a developing economy like Nigeria. The paper specifically deals with the importance of organizational learning on sustainable competitive advantage and how it can be used to achieve sustainable advantage. Despite the wide spread importance attached to building sustainable competitive advantage, the relationship between organizational learning and sustainable advantage has received scant empirical attention. The study empirically examined the relationships between organizational learning and sustainable competitive advantage as well as the impact of organizational learning on sustainable competitive advantage. The results suggest that organizational learning is positively related to sustainable competitive advantage and has the potential of improving sustainable competitive advantage.References
