Ramona Lile „This center is for the underprivileged children of the local community”

The Interdisciplinary Research and Specialized Practical Center for children has been inaugurated by “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad. It was a meeting marked by the joy of finalizing a project close to the hearts of everyone from the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work (FSEPAS); the faculty staff was aided by 40 partners in this endeavor meant to aid the local community.

The event was attended by AVU Rector Ramona LILE, prof. Milencovici Svetlana Zagorka, specialty inspector with ISJ Arad, faculty dean Alina Roman, representatives of various associations and economic partners, FSEPAS students and teaching staff members.

„We would like to thank our partners who aided our university, our colleagues who invested heart and soul in this center meant to help underprivileged children and to develop students` transversal competencies. We would also like to acknowledge the County School Inspectorate for their support and collaboration” declared Ramona Lile, AVU Rector.

The event included talks about education and its transformative powers, about trustworthy partners, involvement and the needs of children from disadvantaged environments.

Project manager, Alina Costin, has awarded diplomas to all those involved in the establishment of the center and highlighted its importance in the community`s life and for the students` professional development.
