Ramona Lile: "Record Number of Visitors at the European Researchers' Night at UAV"

This year, European Researchers' Night was held for the first time at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad. With over 40 participants and nearly 4,000 visitors, the event transformed UAV’s Complex M into a space of experiments where chemistry, physics, and biology revealed their magic.

Musical performances by students from the Arad Technological High School for Construction and Environmental Protection (coordinated by Snejana Denisa Bacalu Rus), a prize raffle sponsored by UAV and its economic partners, and numerous surprises brought cheer and created memorable moments for all attendees.

This year's event also saw a large number of participants in the creativity, drawing, and essay competition focused on science and sports. Over 300 students entered their work into the competition organized by UAV, with many receiving surprise awards.

“Our university has been organizing this European event dedicated to the sciences for almost 10 years. We are delighted by the growing interest from Arad residents and young people, as well as their involvement in promoting research. I congratulate the team from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport for their excellent organization of this year’s edition, and we thank everyone who participated and contributed to the successful execution of the event,” stated UAV Rector, Ramona Lile.
