Ramona Lile: „An important moment for AVU`s institutional development”

AVU`s new student dorm has been inaugurated in the presence of the minister of education, Mr. Sorin Campeanu, the minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Mr. Cseke Attila, the director of the National Investments Company, Ms. Manuela Irina Patrascoiu, local members of the parliament, county officials and UVVG`s Rector.

The ecclesiastical service has been performed by the Right Reverend Timotei Seviciu.

The 16 million RON investment operated through the National Investments Company has been taken over by Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.

According to the statements made by minister Cseke Attila, the student dorm is the first amongst the 30 similar constructions that has been finalized and taken over by the beneficiary institution.

The Minister of Education, Sorin Câmpeanu, has mentioned Arad and Aurel Vlaicu University as an example of good practices in reference to the way project related works have been carried out as well as in reference to the collaboration with local and county level authorities.

„It is an important moment for the institutional development of our university. An investment that has afforded 110 new exceptional accommodation places for AVU students. We`d like to thank everyone involved for their support and hard work, for their effort as to finalize this project”, declared AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile.

Local members of the parliament, local and county authorities have also highlighted the necessity of investing in education as well as the good collaboration experience with Arad`s public university.
