Hundreds of students attended AVU`s "Caius Iacob" Mathematics Competition

The 13th edition of the "Caius Iacob" international math competition, organized by the Faculty of Exact Sciences with the support of the Arad County School Inspectorate, is taking place at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.

Over 300 high school students (9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades) will tackle tests in mathematical reasoning, mathematical techniques, programming, and information technology.

"This is a traditional competition that the Faculty of Exact Sciences has been organizing for the last 13 years. I congratulate my colleagues for their hard work and perseverance in creating this competition and establishing it as one of the most important field related events for high school students," declared Ramona Lile, AVU Rector.

This year, the "Caius Iacob" competition is supported by the County Council through the Arad County Cultural Center.
