The Romanian Student Union (USR) celebrated their anniversary at Ghioroc Summer Fest

USR celebrated the anniversary of their 20 years of establishment in ARAD with AVU`s Students` League (LSUAV). For 5 days students from several university centers (all of them USR members) have laid down the basics for a new project centered on LSUAV and Ghioroc, the place that established itself as a reference point for Western Romania and the entire local student community.

What AVU`s student community wishes to is to transform ARAD into a national student training center „I believe it is a welcome idea and I wish to assure our student body that they have the support of AVU`s management. I also believe that we can count on, as we have so far, the support of the City Council and its president Mr. Iustin Cionca, as well as on Ghioroc Town Hall and Mayor Mr. Corneliu Popi-Morodan who has always stood by our students and has aided the launch of the Ghioroc Summer Fest brand” added AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile.
