Social Entrepreneurship, Profession and Engagement

Oana Pârvulescu, Director of the Social Assistance Directorate Arad, Căldăraș Valentin, founder of the "Together We Are Better" Association from Lipova, and Horvath Alin, President of the "Education through Movement" Association, were the guests of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work and the Student Entrepreneurial Society at the event titled "Social Entrepreneurship."

An event dedicated to students, which brought them closer to understanding the importance of social involvement and demonstrated how they can develop a career or an NGO with real impact in improving the quality of life of others, was organized by the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work, together with the Student Entrepreneurial Society of UAV.
"Those present understood that their passion for helping others can go beyond volunteering and become a profession or develop the entrepreneurial skills necessary to create and grow a non-governmental organization," said Prof. Dr. Mihaela Gavrilă Ardelean, coordinator of the event.

The event was attended by faculty members of FSEPAS, students from the social work study program, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Alina Roman, and the President of the Student Entrepreneurial Society, Lecturer Dr. Radu Blaga.
