AVU to host National Forum of Economists
11/22/2023"Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad is to host the National Forum of Economists in an event organized by the General Assembly of the Association of Romanian Economics Faculties under the topic: "Perspectives on the Economist Profession in the Current European Context".
Economics professors, specialists, and representatives from economics faculties across the country will be present in Arad to discuss a topic of significant interest to the academic community: the relationship between the economic and educational environments, with a focus on facilitating students' entry into the labor market.
Speakers include Prof. PhD. Dorel Paraschiv with the presentation "The Relationship between the University and the Socio-Economic Environment: Present and Future Opportunities," Prof. PhD. Emilia Gogu with "The Profile of the Student/Graduate versus the Profile of the Business Environment," as well as a representative from the local business community.
The event is scheduled for November 23, starting at 10:00 a.m., in AVU`s M Complex.
