Conference on International Law
4/2/2025On Friday, April 4th, in the Ferdinand Hall of the Administrative Palace, the "Global Forum on International Law: Public, Private, and Criminal Perspectives" will take place. The event is organized by the Institute of Geopolitical Studies at the "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad. Experts in international law from Romania, Serbia, Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Germany, Croatia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America will be in attendance.
The special guest is Prof. Dr. Steven Mayer, President of the European Institute for Strategic Research and Resources, and former Deputy Director of the CIA Balkan Task Force (BTF) during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1992–1995).
"Through this event, we aim to present a perspective on what is happening in Europe, as well as globally. International law must be viewed as a unified whole, with all its implications and viewpoints. The specialists present in Arad on Friday will present papers and offer insights into the future of Romania and Europe from the perspective of international law," stated Prof. Dr. Bogdan Vukosavljevic, Director of the Institute of Geopolitical Studies at UAV Arad.
The conference begins on Friday at 9:00 AM and is open to the general public.
