How to Apply Alternative Pedagogies in the Classical Education System?

For two days, alternative pedagogies were the focus of debates initiated by the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology, and Social Work. Students of the faculty, along with high school students from the National College "Preparandia – Dimitrie Țichindeal," learned how Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles can be applied in classroom practice.

The special guest was Prof. Dr. Nicola Barbieri from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, a visiting professor at "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad.

Supporting the success of the event were educators from the Arad pre-university system and education specialists, including:

• Prof. Cristina Mangiurea (Ministry of Education and Research)
• Prof. Mariana Voia-Tipei (Arad County School Inspectorate)
• Prof. Camelia Nan (Aron Cotruș Secondary School, Arad)
• Prof. Larisa Chițu (National College "Preparandia – Dimitrie Țichindeal," Arad)

The workshops and conferences held over the two days are part of the ETIC Project, implemented by UAV. This initiative was highlighted by Prof. Cristina Mangiurea, an advisor at the Ministry of Education, as a significant contribution to the training of professionals in early childhood education.
