Gabriel Traian Ghilea, Ministry of Development State Undersecretary in AVU visit

AVU`s Institute for Research, Development, Innovation in Technical and Natural Sciences has been paid an official working visit from the Ministry of Development; also present were deputy Sergiu Bâlcea and Livia Banu, director of the Oradea Cross-border Cooperation Office.

Talks were held with Prof. Dr. habil Lucian Copolovici, director of the Institute, as well as with Prof. Dr. habil Dana Copolovici, who together with their PhD team presented some of the undergoing projects and partnerships with the business environment that benefit from the expertise and results obtained within the research institute.

"It was a good opportunity to discuss new development opportunities for the academic environment. Our university has won important projects that are currently in progress and we will continue to pursue European as well as Romanian Government fundings. We enjoy the support of the community as well as that of local authorities and we will continue to strive developing Arad into a strong university center", stated AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile.
