Judo Championship Medals for AVU Students

They took part in the National University Judo Championship and won the bronze medal.

Bianca Prodan, a second-year undergraduate student, and Gheorghe Mraz, a second-year master's student enrolled in AVU`s Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, climbed onto the championship podium in Sibiu, ranking third place in the competition. They were accompanied by Assoc. Prof. PhD. Viorel Ardelean, a faculty staff member.

"Congratulations to our students for their results and hard work. Congratulations to their coaches and those who aided them in their fight for medals. Our university supports excellence and will always provide support for students to excel in their chosen field," commented AVU Rector, Ramona Lile.

The championship was attended by students from 11 university centres across the country.
