MuzDid, an AVU organized national student competition

Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad hosted the first edition of the MuzDid National Student Competition that took place in Arad from May 3-4, 2023.

The competition involved 60 contestants from 14 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programmes from across 5 universities: National University of Music in Bucharest, National Music Academy "Gheorghe Dima" in Cluj Napoca, University of Oradea, West University of Timișoara, and Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.

"I congratulate the organizers and the students alike for the success of this event. The competition managed to bring together competitors from several universities who proved a very high-level professional training. It was a first edition that, I am sure, will be followed by many others, and MuzDid will become a landmark in the national academic environment," noted AVU rector, Ramona Lile.

Alina Nicoleta Pădurean, Dean of AVU`s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
