Ramona Lile: "AVU invites you to Ghioroc Summer Fest."
6/14/2023It's official. On Sunday, June 18th, at 3:00 PM, the 12th edition of the "Ghioroc Summer Fest" festival opens. Foam party, color party, DJs` Night, and many other surprises prepared by the organizers during the 12 lively weekends on Ghioroc beach.
Organizers: Ghioroc City Hall, AVU Student League, Arad County Council - promise an unforgettable event for those who choose the Western Coast this summer.
"This festival is undoubtedly one of the most popular events organized by AVU`s Students` League. It is a highly successful project that would not have been possible without the support of Ghioroc`s mayor, Corneliu Morodan Popi, without our students` contribution and without the support of Arad County Council. We are glad that we have managed to promote by way of this event, not only the university`s image but also that of the county, which has become famous on a national level for what it offers every summer to those eager for fun and relaxation," declared AVU`s Rector, Ramona Lile.
Present at the press conference, Corneliu Morodan Popi, Ghioroc mayor, took a journey through the event`s 12 years history, emphasizing how much it affords to the local community and Arad County.
The project initiators, Cosmin Băhnean and Paul Boeriu, reviewed this edition`s most important events: DJs` Night on July 15th, Vibes by the Lake on August 19th; League representative, Lorena Kisz, announced that 200 students from all over the country are expected to arrive on the beach to celebrate the Romanian Student Unions` Day.
A hot summer is coming to Ghioroc beach.
