Ramona Lile „We are content with our university`s evolution”
9/23/2021„Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad ranked first in the European Commission`s U-Multirank 2021, where AVU registered the first place for most maximum points gathered category.
AVU has registered 11 A type qualifications this year compared to the 7 it had in 2020. In this particular category, AVU is followed by the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, „George Emil Palade” University of Medicine from Târgu Mureș, „Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Farmacy from Iași and „Lucian Blaga” University from Sibiu, with 7 maximum scores each.
The ranking includes 34 national universities and takes into account 5 indicators: teaching-learning, research, technological transfer, internationalization and regional involvement. AVU registered maximum points for scientific research and regional involvement.
„The ranking results are a consequence of the work conducted by AVU`s academic community. The registered progress, especially for research activities, is reflected by the ranking. The evolution highlighted by the ranking proves that we are on an ascending track that I am confident we`ll be able to maintain in the future”, commented AVU`s Rector, Ramona LILE.
