Three famous names in Arad’s sports scene, three stories, three people whose lives are intertwined with their passion for sports—this is what inspired the UAV students who attended the event organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and the Student Entrepreneurial Society (SAS) of Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad.

Who were the guests?

Monika Brosovszky-Boriga, a UAV graduate, named the player of the decade (2000-2010), multiple national champion with FCCUAV ICIM Arad in 1994, 1998, 2011, and 2013, and honorary president of the Arad Basketball Academy, spoke to the students with emotion about the passion that shaped her life and left a mark on both Arad’s and Romania’s basketball history.

Lucian Bosinceanu, also a UAV graduate, fitness coach, and entrepreneur, sparked students' interest and triggered a series of questions following his presentation on fitness and performance sports and how they can be turned into a successful business.

Marcel Urban, President of the Arad Basketball Sports Club, spoke candidly about what it takes to lead a champion team, how to push players to give their all on the court, how to maintain the motivation to keep going, and what high-performance sports truly mean.

This was one of the signature SAS meetings where students were not just invited to listen to lectures but to engage in dialogue, discuss with entrepreneurs, and learn from the experiences of those who can inspire them, teach them, and give them the confidence to follow their passions.
