Teodor Cilan: "Non-repayable funding of over 3 million euros for UAV"

The Rector of "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, Teodor Cilan, signed the financing contract for the project "UAV - Equitable Academic Space" at the Ministry of Education's headquarters, together with the Minister of Education, Ligia Deca. The total value of the project is 18,318,784 lei, of which 15,417,559 lei represents non-repayable funding. The project was won by the Arad state university under the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) program, in the call for proposals "Modernization of University Infrastructure for an Equitable Academic Space", and it must be completed by September 30, 2025.

"This project is for the students, aiming to improve the quality of accommodation conditions and enhance study environments. The largest portion of the funding will be allocated to modernizing the student dormitories, but investments will also be made in upgrading spaces for recreation and reading.
