They learned how to conquer their own Everest

Over 60 local high school as well as AVU students learned how to train for their great ascent with support from Ascendis Bucharest. Not to conquer the peaks of the Himalayas, but those of their own lives.

The event was organized by AVU`s Faculty of Engineering represented by vice-dean, Associate Professor PhD. Tiberiu Mănescu. The opening ceremony was attended by the AVU`s vice-rector, Associate Professor PhD. Teodor Cilan, who thanked the event partners for their involvement and support, emphasizing the importance of such actions for young people.

AVU was supported in organizing the event by: Dacian Ilca, Technical Director of LEONI Wiring Systems Arad S.R.L, Ioana Șoică, Team Leader Design Engineer - LEONI Wiring Systems Arad S.R.L, George Alin Crețu, director of VAT Romania, and Marius Han, HR director. The event was also attended by President Waldemar Steimer - Romanian-German Business Club Arad (DRW Arad), and the Robac company from Lipova.
