UAV Launched the Summer School - "Entrepreneurship Workshop"

The 2024 Summer School "Entrepreneurship Workshop" Has Started

The 2024 Summer School "Entrepreneurship Workshop" has begun, an event organized by the Arad County Council through the Arad County Cultural Center and "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, in partnership with the Edu4Future Association, under the auspices of the Student Entrepreneurship Society of UAV.

From May 23rd to June 4th, UAV students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Faculty of Food Engineering, Tourism and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology and Social Work, as well as students from the University of Life Sciences "King Mihai I" from Timișoara, will prepare business concepts to compete in the contest at the beginning of June.

The final stage will take place in Moneasa, where the winners will be determined.

"Through this project, we aim to develop the entrepreneurial skills of young people, as well as their communication and IT skills. We are happy that this year, students from other faculties have joined the students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, thanks to our colleagues from the UAV Student Entrepreneurship Society, and we expect their involvement in the project to lead to an increase in both the quantity and quality of the materials presented," said Radu Blaga, the initiator and coordinator of the project.

The event's opening was attended by: Ioana Engelhardt, Manager of the Arad County Cultural Center; UAV Rector Teodor Cilan; Monica Ocnean, President of the Student Entrepreneurship Society at the University of Life Sciences "King Mihai I" from Timișoara; Gabriel Popescu, representative of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism; the leadership of the Faculty of Economic Sciences; and many entrepreneurs.
