10/15/2024

The "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad is ranked 27th out of 73 universities in Romania evaluated in the 2025 edition of the Study Abroad Aide's World University Rankings.

The ranking, which includes 8,536 universities, assesses higher education institutions worldwide, providing international students with useful information to help them choose the university where they will continue their studies. The ranking takes into account the university's academic reputation, the number of enrolled students, and the number of international students, using data from prestigious international rankings such as Times Higher Education, QS World University Rankings, and US News & World Report.

Nationally, the top spots are held by the University of Bucharest, Babeș-Bolyai University, and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

"This is an honorable position for our university, and we are pleased to be among the top 30 universities in the country. I am confident that we can climb higher in this ranking, especially since one of our management's objectives is to implement an internationalization strategy that will increase the number of international students and offer study opportunities to young people from all over the world," said UAV Vice-Rector for Academic Transparency and International Relations, Prof. Liviu Sevastian Bocîi.
