UAV Supports the "Olympic Days"

The "Olympic Days" event, held on May 24th, was organized by "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, the Arad County School Inspectorate, and Moise Nicoară National College, bringing together more than 300 students on the field named after Marconi Ioan, the former director of the Romanian Olympic Academy from 1997 to 2023.
The cross-country, football, and basketball competitions celebrated sports and physical activity among young people in Arad.
The event's opening was attended by: Arad's Mayor, Călin Bibarț; the Vice-President of the Arad County Council and President of the County Football Association, Răzvan Cadar; General School Inspector Marius Gondor; the Vice-Rector of "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, Ovidiu Toderici; the Director of Moise Nicoară National College, Diana Achim; famous basketball player Monica Brosovszky Boriga; and the Secretary of the Olympic Academy, Arad branch, Marconi Roberto Gabriel.
"This year, more than ever, Olympic Days must be marked. It is the year in which the French capital will host the Olympic Games, one of the most beautiful sports competitions. We are glad that, alongside us, local and county authorities, the state university of Arad, the county school inspectorate, and Moise Nicoară National College have all been involved in the successful organization of the event, and we managed to promote sports among the young people of Arad. The celebration of the Olympic movement will continue this month through the organization of judo, sambo, chess, and swimming competitions," said Marconi Roberto Gabriel, Secretary of the Olympic Academy, Arad branch, and a faculty member at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad.
