A new funding contract of nearly 3 million euros for UAV.

A new financing contract for the project "Educational Transformation: Integrating Digital Competencies in Multidisciplinary Teaching" has been signed, a project won under the call for "Digital Pedagogy for Teachers in Pre-university Education", financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

"I have signed a new PNRR funding contract for our university, through which we will be able to ensure the development of specific competencies for pre-university teachers to implement digital pedagogy in the educational process. Together with our partners, we will contribute, through the training programs we implement and the multimedia resources that will be generated, to improving the quality of the educational act," said UAV Rector, Prof. Teodor Florin Cilan.

The project, valued at 14,010,330.30 RON (approximately 2,814,000 euros), targets teachers in the Arad and Hunedoara counties and is being implemented in partnership with the Association "Regional Center for Employment and Social Protection", a provider of professional training, and the Competency Assessment and Certification Center for non-formal and informal learning.

Throughout the course of the project, which will run throughout 2025, over 3,000 pre-university teachers from public schools will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate digital technologies into the teaching process, thus contributing to the development of both their digital and pedagogical competencies.

Additionally, 1,763 open educational materials (multimedia lessons) will be published on a platform of the Ministry of Education, designed to serve as best practice models for various curricular areas and subjects at different levels of education.
