World Autism Awareness Week

With the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, AVU`s Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology, and Social Work hosted the "World Autism Awareness Week – the role of partnership in remedial activities for children with ASD" workshop.

The meeting aimed to highlight specific elements involved in assisting children with ASD, with references to support and guidance strategies for family members.

Ther event aimed to provide a holistic approach towards the issue, therefore it relied on the expertise of the following guest specialists: Zagorka Milencovici, special and integrated education inspector, ISJ Arad; Cristina Gros, clinical psychologist, CSEI Arad; Ana Gavrilă, clinical psychologist - Pariter Center Arad and Patricia Turda, teacher at "Saint Mary" Special High School Arad.
