International Student Arts Festival – May 10–11, in Arad

This is the invitation that "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, the Faculty of Design within UAV, and Andreea Cormier-Wacker Couture, in collaboration with the Arad City Hall, are extending to all residents of Arad on the occasion of the YOUTH ART FESTIVAL – International Student Arts Festival, Arad 2025.

Youth Art Festival, now at its very first edition, is dedicated to promoting excellence in arts education and aims to position Arad as a hub of innovation and creativity in the educational landscape. The festival brings together art students from the region, from across the country, and from abroad, offering them opportunities for recognition, affirmation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

On May 10 and 11, 2025, during the festival, we will create spaces for exhibitions, dialogue, and cultural exchange for young artists. We will lay the foundations for a networking platform for students, teachers, and professionals in the arts, both local and international. We will promote excellence in arts education and validate the talents and skills of the younger generation.

In both conventional and unconventional spaces, we will host exhibitions, competitions in graphic and product design, interior design and architecture, acting, beauty make-up & hairstyling, modeling, fashion design, literature, and culinary arts—and we’ll bring music into the mix as well.

The festival will offer a wide variety of exhibitions and awards in the fields of fine arts and media arts. There will be workshops and presentations with special guests from related and complementary fields, as well as creative workshops, interdisciplinary mentorship sessions, activities for children, musical auditions, photo shoots, guided tours, and more.
