Social Work Days at UAV

Discussions about the social work profession, the labor market, and the role of social workers in supporting vulnerable groups seeking employment took place during an event organized by the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Psychology, and Social Work (FSEPAS) at the state university in Arad. The event is part of a series dedicated to the International Day of Social Work, which will be hosted by "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad.

The workshop brought together professionals and university trainers in social work. Among the speakers addressing the students and master's students present were Laura Andres, President of the Arad Territorial Branch of CNASR, UAV Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ovidiu Toderici, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Alina Roman, Prof. Dr. Remus Runcan, and Prof. Dr. Mihaela Gavrilă-Ardelean, the event organizer. A brief presentation of the legislative framework and local policies in the field was delivered by Laura Anton, a first-year master's student in the Social Work Services program at FSEPAS.
