Abstract

The paper „Curricular models applied in the schools from the region of Western Romania†has in view an actual problem, the onset of the educational curriculum, analysed in the terms of present educational practices. Using a fundamental methodology on the seven curricular models applied in the field of international curriculum, the paper proposes to present a whole image of the way in which schools and professors from the Western Region of Romania orient themselves in implementing and developing the curricular offer. In order to highlight the methodological pluralism, comparisons between counties, types of high- schools and areas of residence are presented.
